Senior Software Engineer
Patent-pending geospatial land-parcel system spanning 34M parcels and 15M parties.
- —Proxy Farms — identified an internal ML algorithm and saw how to repurpose it to canonicalize 34M raw parcels into 1.2M queryable farm polygons in under 2 seconds. The approach was a platform breakthrough and I was named on the resulting patent.
- —Selected alongside the CTO and senior leadership to demo the first cross-sector ag-data integration of its kind — tracing the full grain flow from weather and farm/land data through downstream terminals to biofuel blending at the rack — to ADM, Louis Dreyfus Company, and Cargill.
- —Built an ag-data semantic API and spatial RAG system giving AI agents direct access to the platform — enabling use cases like recommending farmers to grain originators, while eliminating the constant churn of bespoke REST endpoints for near-identical queries.
SailCalculator
10,800+ boatsAI-powered sailboat research platform. Find boats by spec, run performance calculations, and get recommendations from Knot — an AI trained on sailing.
NamaGo
In developmentMeditation mantra platform with 12 cinematic slide transitions — fade, iris, bloom, parallax, and more. AI-generated mantra suggestions based on mood.
EasyDoes
MVPAdaptive workout app that auto-adjusts routines around flagged injuries. Mark what hurts — shoulder, knee, wrist — and get a modified plan instantly.
I'm a Senior Software Engineer specializing in large-scale data platforms and API architecture. I studied Environmental and Technical Studies, not computer science, which turned out to be surprisingly relevant. Understanding land, ecosystems, and how humans interact with them at scale is exactly the lens you need when you're building systems around 34 million agricultural parcels.
At DTN I work on the infrastructure that makes sense of agricultural land at scale: 34M parcels, 15M parties, the farms and producers behind them. I co-invented a geospatial ML method now under patent review that collapses that data into something queryable in real time.
Outside of work I build things that solve problems I actually have: a sailboat research tool, a meditation app, an injury-aware workout tracker. They keep me sharp and honest about what good software actually feels like to use.
Open to interesting conversations — whether that's a role, a collaboration, or just ag-data nerd talk.
